Springboard - Improve your job prospects - Places Available!

Springboard Logo  Springboard provides funded 3rd level courses which will help you improve your job prospects.

All courses are part-time, allowing you to keep your social protection supports and making it easier for those with families and responsibilities.

To be eligible for a place on a Springboard course you must:

  • be in receipt of 1 of the following Department of Social Protection payments for a period  prior to the course start date:
    • Jobseeker's Benefit payment or
    • Jobseeker's Allowance payment or
    • One Parent Family Allowance payment

or

  • be signing for social insurance contribution credits for a period  prior to the course start date and
  • have a previous history of employment and
  • be actively seeking and available to take up employment

Applicants must be unemployed  at the time of starting a Springboard course must be in receipt of one of the above. Receipt of any of the following will also be taken into account:

  • disability allowance
  • back to education allowance (BTEA)
  • back to work enterprise allowance (BTWEA)
  • VTOS training allowance
  • FAS training allowance
